The Church of the Incarnation has revised its policy with regard to using their facilities. Rental fees are now required for room usage, with different amounts being charged for different organizations. For us, Incarnation requires a donation of $75 per quarter because we are a Diocesan/Church-sponsored organization. In addition, we are required to have an insurance policy with one-million dollar coverage. We have informed the Church that we will need the facilities for the coming year.
The installation of new officers will be conducted by the District Deputy. The actual installation depends upon the District Deputy’s schedule.
The Veterans Memorial will be held at Dixie on May 26th at 10:30 AM. Everyone is welcome.

Deputy Grand Knight Report – John Chiumento

This was a very interesting year being the Deputy Grand Knight and felt overall we accomplished much in a positive way. Although it was hard to get brother Knights involved at times each of you really stepped up when truly needed. That I'm certainly grateful for and appreciate all the help. As I look back at this year I would say our commitment to JPJ was certainly a good money maker. Having the opportunity to work with the Confirmation class for many of the evenings was truly a blessing. We do have some excellent young people that do appreciate what the Knights did for them........presented them with youth Bibles!! I never had to ask twice to get them to "volunteer" in serving. Next year will be completely different as I'm no longer Youth Minister at the Church of the Incarnation. Another example of Knights stepping up was KOVAR.......in such a short time we put together 3 days of completely filling up the assignments. Thanks to each of you that helped out with this wonderful example of giving of ourselves for others. I look forward to the coming year (although not for the complete year) in serving as DGK. Thanks again for all your support!!!! God Bless!!!!!

Grand Knight  Elect – Tom O’Rourke

“Go for the Star” – that’s my motto for the coming year. The “Star” is the Star Council Award which is my number one priority! Every Brother should be a worker who should do more than his job description.

Successes under PGK Joe Murray will be used to build an even stronger council. The First Officers meeting on Tuesday, 6/10 in lieu of first Monday, will be expanded to be a regular meeting night and the third Monday a regular business meeting night.

Planning books will be issued to the officers after we review and upgrade individual sections. We will have no secrets, copies of these books will be available to any one who needs to review the status of our programs.

Just as the Grand Knight cannot be expected to be present at every get-together, neither can the other officers. However, to help out, each officer is asked to have a “side-kick” to cover his trail in his absence.

A select group of people is being formed to help train members to move up the chain of command and review and comment on performances.

So, lets get going! We need to be off and running by July 1st!!

Thanks again to PGK Joe Murray for a wonderful year!

Tom
